My grade for Humanities!

I would give myself a B+ or an A- because first of all our Pagoda looks almost like a real pagoda (except it's smaller)! Second of all we have a torri gate and a shrine which makes it look even more like medeival Japan! I think that I should get a little bit higher grade than my partner because all he really did was create a little fence thing to create a shrine...but that's all he really did for the terrarium....I made the entire pagoda (which wasn't that easy) and brought in all of the supplies!

My grade for the life science!

I would give myself a B! The reason I gave myself a B is because first of all my partner and I don't even have our organism yet! Second of all is because since we don't have our organism we don't have the manual that comes with it so we can't do much to prepare for it! And third of all is because although it hasn't come yet we still have our terarium and stuff ready for it!

Exhibition

Exhibition was pretty fun! It wasn't as bad as I had anticipated! Although every time someone asked a question he was always first to answer.... he never gave me a chance to answer. So I was kinda glad when he went around to check out other people exhibits so that I could answer a few questions! There was this one guy who walked around asking everyone questions about a lot of things! I later found out that he was a teacher who wanted to work at our school! The only thing that I was really bugged about was that our praying mantises didn't arrive before Exhibition started! But everything else was kewl! LOL when my mom saw the scorpions she freaked!

Okay so today I finished measuring everything for the pagoda and put the measurements on wood to be cut out! Again it took a while for the wood to be cut but it still got done! After the wood pieces were cut out I sanded the edges as best as possibly could, though there were still some rough edges! Then I put the pieces together with a hot glue gun! BTW this may sound easy but trust me it took a LOT more time then it may sound like! The hardest part was putting the roof on it! My partner and I were differing over whether to put a flat roof or a triangular roof! We ended up putting a triangular roof thing...but the flat roof would have been MUCH easier..JTLYK (just to let you know)!!!

Today we put together the pieces that we had gotten cut out by Mr. Strong! I would love to tell you that it looked fantastic and great....but I would be lying! It looked AWFUL!!! But it was the best we could do so we painted it a brownish color which made it look like a mud house! So I took a look around to see what everybody else's pagoda looked like! Brian and Cody's looked pretty good so I asked Brian how he made it! Then I went off and started measuring everything to make my own pagoda! I didn't get a chance to actually do it on wood though beacuse the day had ended!

Today my partner and I started to prepare our pagoda for our terrarium! Terry started on it and then when I went to check out what he was doing I saw he had already measured the pieces on a piece of paper and cut it out! So after that I took the two sheets of paper and gave them to Mr.Strong to cut out! Well, unfortunately that took a while because there were some people ahead of us also waiting for their wood to be cut! Finally there got cut!So we sanded them but didn't finish so I took a couple pieces home to finish sanding the sides!
